PactPace is a free mobile app that helps you and your friends stay accountable to shared goals. You create a "pact" — a commitment to do something regularly — invite your people, and everyone checks in together. It's accountability that actually works because someone else is watching.
Anyone who has started a habit and quit because no one was watching. Gym partners, study groups, reading clubs, sobriety buddies, running crews — if the goal involves other people showing up, PactPace was built for you.
PactPace is currently available on Android. An iOS version is in the works — sign up on our download page to be notified when it lands on the App Store.
You create a pact by giving it a name, setting the goal (e.g. "Run 3 times a week"), choosing the check-in rules, and inviting friends. Each day — or however often the rules say — everyone checks in. Miss a day and your streak resets. That's the whole mechanic: simple, honest, social.
Yes — there's no limit. You can create or join as many pacts as you like, each with different goals, different friends, and different check-in schedules. Your home screen shows all of them at a glance.
Your streak resets to zero, but you stay in the pact. Missing a day is a signal, not a disqualification. You can see your total check-ins alongside your streak, so your real progress is never erased — just the consecutive run.
A streak counts the number of consecutive periods in which you checked in for a pact. Break the chain and it resets. Streaks are a motivational tool — they make the cost of missing a day visible and give you something to protect.
Yes. Inside each pact you can see every member's streak, total check-in count, and recent activity. You'll also get notifications when someone in your pact checks in — or hasn't yet.
Your data is only visible to people inside your pacts. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. We'll send you a confirmation email first. Once confirmed, all your data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our servers — no recovery possible. You can also use the online deletion form if you no longer have access to the app.
We collect only what's needed to run the app: your email address, display name, and the check-in data you create inside pacts. We don't collect location data, contacts, or anything else. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Yes — the core app is free to download and use. We may introduce optional paid features or show ads in the future to keep the service running, but the fundamental accountability features will remain accessible.
We haven't launched any paid plans yet. If we do, we'll announce it clearly in the app and via email. We won't lock existing features behind a paywall without notice.
